Hiking Praise - David Crowder Band

Billy Goat Trail ~ section B

On Saturday October 3rd, after having a wonderful lunch at the Old Angler's Inn, with our good friend Audrey, Valerie and I changed into our hiking cloths and hit the Billy Goat Trail, section B. It's a 3 mile round trip hike along the Potomac River within the C&O Canal National Historic Park.

It was a beautiful sunny day and although there was some rock scrambling the trail was generally flat and well maintained. We made it home in plenty of time to attended the first annual Capitol Ale House Oktoberfest.

The trail was 1.6 miles along the river with the return via the C&O Canal tow path.

We spent a great weekend in Morgantown visiting Molly. Maggi traveled up to meet us from West Jefferson, NC, her new home.

Last But Not Least

After a morning and lunch in Stratford-upon-Avon we spent a few hours at Anne Hathaway's cottege.

Our last evening before heading home. We got a VIP evening tour of the Tower of London which included drinks and food in the Yeoman Warder's private pub.
